The Clubhouse was created as a place to come home to yourself.
Rooted in Northumberland and inspired by a sense of grounding, warmth and community, The Clubhouse offers intelligent, music-led movement in a space designed to feel calm, welcoming and familiar. This is more than a workout — it’s a place to belong.
Our classes blend Pilates, strength training and our signature House Workout, helping you feel strong, confident and connected to your body. Movement here is intentional, supportive and built for real life.
The Clubhouse is a family-run studio led by founder Maisie, created to bring thoughtful, high-quality movement to the North East — shaped by home, nature and the belief that wellbeing starts with feeling supported.
Come for the workout.
Stay for the people.
Come home to yourself.

These sessions provide an opportunity to develop your skills, share ideas, and enjoy the satisfaction of making something by hand in a supportive environment.

Keeping fit and active is important for everyone. When people feel breathless they often avoid exercise and this makes doing your normal activities more difficult as you become more unfit.
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a well-researched treatment for people with breathing difficulties that is shown to make a big difference in overall health. It is considered a “Gold Standard” treatment and should be offered to everyone who may benefit from it. You must be referred to the service by your GP, specialist nurses, consultant teams and other health professionals who are involved in your care.
Pulmonary rehabilitation is most often offered in a group setting in this community centre. Exercising alongside other people with symptoms like yours can be reassuring, and people often share helpful tips and advice from their own experiences. Being breathless can be an isolating experience and it is good to know you are not alone.
